Breakfast with Santa

On Dec 13th we had Breakfast with Santa, for our 2nd year in a row. My sister and I have started a new tradition. We go to Breakfast with Santa at the Union Station, and it is so much fun. Our boys love it, especially because Grandma Combe comes along. This year was especially neat because the boys got interviewed by the Standard Examiner and they were mentioned in the Sunday paper. That's always exciting for your two your old to be in the newspaper!!!! It's really fun, they serve breakfast (obviously) but all the help is dressed up like elves, and they bring around pictures for the kids to color, and help the kids write a letter to Santa. They tell the Polar Express story and then Santa and Mrs Claus come around and visit each child. Mrs Claus gives a gift, and Santa hands a candy cane and a Jingle Bell. Make sure you can hear the bell jingle, Do You BeLiEvE?!?

SURPRISE!!!

On Oct 23rd I turned 30!!! Yes I can't believe it. I had a hard time that day, but I am really ok with being 30, mostly because I am so happy with my life. It's had it's up's and down's but every bump in the road was worth it. I would'nt change a thing!! So the saturday after my birthday I had to "babysit" for my sister in law for about an hour. To come home to a house full of friends and family. My mom and sis p;lanned a surprise party for me and they did a really good job. Todd kept it a secret from me and that's really hard to do, I pry everything out of everyone. I was really surprised and had a great time!! Thanks Mom and Jessie your the best. Thanks to my husband for everything!!! Your my BEST friend and my life!!! I love you! Thanks everyone for coming! Angie good job at not blowing the surprise and Thank you too!!

Boston Broke his arm!

So Boston has a broken arm....I was really sad and disappointed, I felt like a really bad mom, how could I let something like that happen to my little baby. Honestly it was just a fluke thing, he plays horsey on the arm of our couch and fell off. Well it just seemed like any other fall, which, let's face it boys (kids) do ALL the time. He cried and shook it off and continued to play. The next day (Oct 25th) I was changing him out of his jammies and grabbed his arm in just the right spot and he started screaming bloody murder. I just figured he had bruised it, but being a normal paranoid mom I took him to have it looked at. Like I said I thought I was just being paranoid and over reacting, so I never expected the DR to come in and tell me it was broken....sure enough it was, not a bad brake, they call it a "buckle brake" but it's on his Radius and Ulna, both bones on his forearm. So he has a cast for at least 3 weeks. It really wasn't that bad and he never seemed to be in too much pain, I think it's been alot harder on me than anything. But now that the shock is wearing off and he is adjusting to the cast he actually looks cute with it. Looks all tough and so much more like a little rugged boy!!!

Halloween Party!

My Aunt Jeri had a really fun Halloween party for all of the kids. It was a lot of fun because it was with my cousins and their kids...so our kids are 2nd cousins and haven't seen each other in a while. They are all really close to the same age and just had so much fun playing, she had a bean bag toss, a pinata, a fishing pond for prizes, we ate dinner and played. It was really good to see everyone again, with all our busy lives we never seem to keep in touch. Thanks Rick and Jeri for all your hard work at planning this fun party. We love you!!strong>a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhen1_YSsc42dnxbFU6RXIVhDLBaST2ndyaWM2XbOhK9gb-bNCt8i3Hsr-cLfT_Owh0kRlQ3fP9VEdP8LWG2ls4WPl_7VuxRDIk-t6bIMANKB3FK3bztuCpi7V-dJ7_gDQCQPBz2ZPbYz0/s1600-h/Family+photos+954.jpg">

Ideas PLEASE...

As most of you know my sister makes the cutest crafts. Seasonal and everyday crafts for your home, she is amazingly creative and does such a good job at everythingshe makes. However we are having a hard time trying to think of a cute business name for her to advertise. So she has decided to do a little contest. Give me your ideas for a Business name by September 22 and whoever's she chooses will get a $15 gift certificate towards any of her crafts.

Thanks bunches!! Belinda

My mom and dad went away for a quiet weekend alone, and of course they couldn't help but miss their grandchildren. They in vited us all up for a picnic and fishing, but Todd had to work and my sister and her famimly couldn't miss church so it was just me and Boston and my lil bro Michael.

Boston had a lot of fun tryin to catch some fish unfortunatly they weren't biting and we didn't catch any. Boston did keep putting his toy shark in the net and acting like he caught it, he was so proud of himself. He is ALL boy and so much fun. Thanks Mom and Dad!

Boston's First trip to Lagoon!

So the day before school started Tennille asked if we wanted to go to Lagoon, she got us some passes and we couldn't skip out on a free trip to Lagoon. Especially since its so expensive these days! Boston had a great time....he was a little unsure of the rides, but he kept watching his cousin Will for encouragement. He LOVED the train ride, I think that was his favorite, he loves animals so much and trains so it was perfect, in fact when the train stopped he didn't want to get off. It was an emotionally hard day for me because I was witnessing my little baby boy grow right before my eyes. I was happy, but so sad to see him standing in line for the rides all by himself (without mom) but him and Will just looked so cute and all grown up. I can't believe they're almost 2 years old!! Time flies!!! We love you so much Boston!!!!
Boston's very first ride and he really didn't love it lot's...
Boston, Will and Olivia being silly....sooo cute!

Boston and mommy on his last ride....he didn't love this one, if they just went in cricles it would be one thing, but when the rides go up and down and around he gets a little worried!!!

Work Summer Bash!!!

So I haven't kept up on posting my events like I should...so this is a little old, but about a month ago Christy and Chad (owners of Textures Salon) decided to have a fun summer work party at their house.....they hosted the funnest party, they had so many fun things set up for the kids and we all brought lot's of good grub!!! We had a blast watching everyone surf and watching the kids play!! My husband didn't want to leave the awesome horseshoe game him and Chad had going, but I finally pryed him outa there about 9:30 (way past Boston's bed time) I think the mosquitos helped get him out too. But thanks again Christy and Chad for such a good time!!!

My lil Sis is pregnant again

So my sister is pregnant!!!

I am so excited for her, and I think she is finally excited too. The news was a little unexpected at first but I think her and her hubby are getting used to the idea of baby #2. As for us I can't wait to cuddle on my new niece or nephew!! Jessie and I had our first kids two months apart so I know she is waiting for us to tell her that we are expecting too, but sorry sis, just not quite ready to have another one. I have loved having Boston and Levi so close but with my new career change and Todd trying to change his, we just don't think it would be the best timing. (especially since we don't have any health insurance). But we will be there for all the help you need for your new little bundle of joy. I know my parents are really happy to have grandchild #5 and maybe their first granddaughter. Can't wait to find out if it's a boy or girl (hopefully girl). Jessie is expecting sometime in February 2009!!

Congrats to Luke, Jessie and Levi on your new edition to your family!!!

About Us

This crazy Family!

Todd and I were married in June 2002, and a few times in between! We are back on the love train and doing better than ever. The joy of our life, Boston, was born October 2006; and has kept us laughing and playing ever since.

We have settled in Roy with lots of friends and family. We have a fat golden retriever Duke, who thinks he is a lap dog. He is Boston's best friend.
